Very unclear in his communications, and does not care about his students. He should not be allowed in an institution of higher learning.
One of the toughest graders you'll ever meet.
Not at all helpful, or clear on explaining things.
If you care about your grades and GPA, then take someone else.
Makes the subject harder than it has to be. Will make you regret enrolling in the Psych program.
Not knowledgeable on contemporary issues in psychology.
Worst professor in the psychology department.
Professor Charles obviously knows his stuff. His intelligence on the subjects shines clearly. But falls short when it comes to saying exactly what he needs from the students. On the tests there are often questions which deal with irrelevant things so he can "make sure you're reading the assignments."
I've had this professor for four classes over the years, and this professor is not good at saying exactly what he wants. He gives a lot of assignments which don't generally align with the test material, and is very sensitive to anything he perceives as a critique - when all you're doing is asking for a clarification.
Super disorganized and poor at communicating the instructions and materials. Questions on tests are not worded clearly, and becomes condescending even when the WHOLE class says they don't understand exactly what he's trying to communicate. Tough graded who takes points off for semantic things. Not generally accessible after class, it's even tough to get a handle on him during office hours. Research projects which are given deal with subjects which are no longer relevant or studied, and will NOT do much to advance your knowledgebase. AVOID this professor at ALL COSTS!!!
